I went through this when I first started using TR a few years ago. What I found was that my seat position (WRT how well I was carrying weight on my sit bones) mattered a whole bunch more when trainer time got ramped up.
The solution for me was just a series of small saddle adjustments over 1-2 weeks. Once your position is close, small tweaks can make a significant difference in your comfort. Make sure to record your starting point, and any changes made so that you can get back to a 'last good position' if you got too far. Also, get out of the saddle once in a while, especially until you have this sorted. 15-30 seconds every 10 or minutes or so worked for me.
One of the great things about a forum like this is that although we are here because of a common interest, we're all unique, and bring a broad range of knowledge from our lives outside of the sport.
With this in mind, please pick the one thing you would put yourself out as a subject matter expert for and list it here. Personal life or professional life - doesn't matter.
Going first:
I work on the operations side of commercial property development, have an IT background and a passion for racing. I've served time with one of the largest Japanese motorsport manufacturers, and still act as a Tech Advisor for one of their main online forums. I'm the guy that friends/family call when something is not working right (house, car, bike, electronics, etc.)
I'll put myself out as a 'fixer'. Feel free to bounce something off me if you're having troubles.
I bought my SS gifts on the weekend, and was going to ship them out tonight. Something in my Twitter feed this morning caused buyer's remorse, and they are now getting what is behind door number 2.
