    1) Clean the bike
    2) Install/Align tire logos and tube valves
    3) Flat saddle
    4) Slam stem (flat or negative rise only) (0.5 because that's a chode stem)
    5) Remove saddle bag, bottles, computer (but ok to keep the cages, computer holder, etc.)
    6) Chain in the big ring + smallest cog
    7) Drive-side only
    8) Drive-side crank either at 3 o'clock (horizontal) or in line with your chainstay
    9) Valves at 6 o'clock (pointing up) or hidden between fork/seatstays
    10) Hide skewers

What's behind the chainring? I like the orange/blue combo.
Saddle + pedal accents are nice.

Ordinarily, this wouldn't be considered (not a road/tri bike or wall), but 8.5/10 to start off the year!

Chain guard/catcher? Do you even need those anymore with modern narrow wide rings?

I think he's referring to the tensioner/guide on the bottom of the chain. They help in keeping the chain on, plus shifting and chain suck/whip on a mtb.

Damn, so close yet so far. Story of my life. Yes I like the Orange as well (definitely in for 2017 in the USA) :( and Kyle nailed the chain guide. I rode 15 miles through mud/crud and slush last weekend and she handled everything I threw at her. I'm a diehard for trainer miles in the winter, but it felt oh so good to hit the trails in January.

Gave the old boy a scrub down after a rainy ride over the weekend and had to submit a BAAW before dragging it back out today.

Insane saddle setback + BONER STEM = Frame is too small!

    Edit
    1) Clean the bike
    2) Install/Align tire logos and tube valves (nice, but align with the larger of the 2 logos next time)
    3) Flat saddle
    4) Slam stem (flat or negative rise only)
    5) Remove saddle bag, bottles, computer (but ok to keep the cages, computer holder, etc.)

Also - what happened to your crank?

I'll take a 9 in the first attempt. Bought this frame with zero riding experience, so totally possible that it's the wrong size.

Not sure about the crank. Noticed it a while back and think it might just be rub from shoes while pedaling?

"Letter of the law vs spirit of the law" debate. I didn't actually award the 9, as it's still a crap setup.

Nope. Bike looks clean and those valves are perfectly aligned with the tire logos. At least a 2.

    Also, no coffee in picture.

What do I gotta do to get a thumbs down around here ? If a hybrid bike that had a kickstand and reflectors Doesn't do it, then I guess nothing will.
