Hey my fine feathered friends. We are going to be on the road to Omaha to University of Nebraska Medical Center. Monday Dave will have an MRI and meet with a surgeon. If any of you are familiar with HIPEC please ping me.

Big shout outs to @Jennifer Post, @Martin and @Rash for their kind words. Bryan, Coneflower Creamery in Omaha is the bombdiggity, thanks for recommending. Dave’s biopsy is scheduled for Thursday. Tomorrow is a prep day. Tonight we saw this in front of our hotel. I’m taking as a good omen.

Many thanks for the good thoughts today and to everyone who reached out. Folks here prove that there is plenty of kindness in this world.
The surgeon feels based on today’s biopsy that the cancer, though rare, is less aggressive than what he was concerned he would find. HIPEC will happen late May/early June with no delay for a cycle of regular chemo. We’re grateful for that.
Dave sends his thanks, too
you all.

Soooo, @idking90 is in Alabama racing with Starky and Eric Lagerstrom among others tomorrow. This feels like it deserves some discussion.

What!!! Go @idking90 !!!
Time to break out the tots and beer to pregame this mother fucker
Pretty late in the day to post your breakfast photos.
Only a month and a half later seeing this, thanks.
Yeah, it was very cool. It’s always welcome to see accomplished road triathletes come over to XTERRA, but especially on a course like Alabama that is at least one of the more skill-based courses left compared to the crazy climbing courses.
Eric swims very, very fast as I learned 30m into it when I lost his feet.
@Tad_M did you see this? Flat Sam crashed again.

Howdy Roosters, thanks to the infrastructure act we are getting fiber to our house, woohoo. Anyway, we need a new router. The only guidance I got from the provider is ‘a good one’. Suggestions? We aren’t big gamers, but I’d love snappier saving of my ginormous spreadsheets for work.

@M_Ware If you want wireless and never want to think about it, eero is ok. But you have zero control.
Thanks @Martin. It is likely the folks doing our initial install will have seen nothing but Netgear or Linksys, and those are the only 2 I’m familiar with, is eero as simple as those? I’ve already been assimilated by the Amazon Borg so it sounds good to me.

I always found the Netgear and the Linksys were pretty easy to set up.
eero is super simple. The only issue is if you need to open a port or do anything that a normal router can do, you just can't. It's basically a closed system (although I'm sure Amazon has all kinds of ports IN to the eero..).
Don't you mean zeero control
Sharing this for folks who didn’t see on Instagram. Congrats @mbrekk44!
