@Struang They are a few seasons old Cole Haan's. They are so comfortable I think is could run a race in them. They have similar soles out now just not the bright colors.
The other thing I did that was important was, I went to my local running store and asked who the best PT person in our area for runners. They suggested a guy, who has since become a friend, who is not only a PT but also a triathlete and ultra runner.

I have hit the lane line so many times in backstroke because I am so worried about blasting someone coming the other way. I wish I could say I have never made contact with people in the other lane. It has happened. My wonderfully awful flip…

Thanks for explaining the clock. I sort of understood it yesterday. I am sure it will be easier.
How do you know when to use pull bouy. I grabbed one but didn't use it. I saw some people did and some did not.
I have been doing weight training 3x a week and running 4x per week with no runs over 90 mins.
I have also swam a couple of times.
December 1 I start back on the bike 3x per week with one of those being 1.5hrs.
I have also been trying to stop eat…
I love the race. I have yet to actually finish it after two attempts.
I will give any help I can as to equipment choices and training.
Let me know specific concerns.
Tad, let's figure out a some time this winter and I can come up and meet for a be…
Thank you! This is what I am looking for. I had the same feeling about the timed stuff, but I don't know enough about it to know if I was going to hurt myself.
I think I will get the book and see what I can get done over the next month and a half…
