Dibs.
If anyone is looking for a destination Fondo, consider RBC Gran Fondo: https://www.rbcgranfondo.com/whistler
I’ve ridden to Whistler before so knew what I was in for in terms of challenge but the opportunity to do this on a road closed completely to car traffic is… a gift! (Not technically, you have to pay.)
They claim it’s North America’s largest Fondo… today had 6700 registered participants! Start was smooth and non chaotic which surprised me but aid stations and finish struggled with the size of the crowd - at least for mid packers like me.
Great ride! Beautiful scenery. But be prepared to climb!

I'll also note to the Canadian's that you can buy $200 worth of beer for $60 at any gas station
Say more about that…
Also, who wants to do the math for me on 6.9 loops of Impossibleman?

@kjrunnin may your day be filled with bikes, wine, and family. In whichever order you prefer
Thank you!
And let’s not forget cake! It’s taken me 52 years to figure it out but this year I made the dinner reservations myself, ordered my own cake, and booked myself into the spa for the afternoon. Older and wiser.
