I just booked a flight for the sworry trials/Ode To Laz and I have been challenged to go 69:00 for the sprint tri on the Friday. I'm going to have to train every GD day and lose about 30 lbs.
My plan for April is to get back into a routine and get under 200lb for the first time in ... ?
What are you all up to this month?

I just bought an induction range and so I'm planning to spend April making epic grilled cheese sandwiches, and finding just the right wine pairing. I will pass you on my way up the scale while you make your way down.
Or I will SBR, drop a few pounds, and continue to obsessively check my e-mail to see if my bike has shipped.
Running a 125km relay around the entire island of Montreal (team of 6: 3 guys, 3 ladies) on April 23rd.
I'm going to continue to not work out consistently.

I'm still battling my injury, which has now been diagnosed as a slipped disc in my lower back that is pinching my sciatic nerve. I owe my physiotherapist an apology since I threw him under the bus when I thought it was a hamstring/knee injury. Hopefully I can get an MRI quickly and they can figure out if I need surgery or not. In the mean time I'm off work on short-term disability and not able to sit, stand, or lie down flat. My sweet spot is lying on the living room floor with my legs up on the couch or ottoman. I'm also taking a metric shit ton of painkillers, so it's not all bad.
For April I'm going to go with the same goal as Webstey and try to get under 200lbs.
I'm going to try to swim again. And probably bike alongside @Matt's team at the 125 and critique their superior running speed and form while drinking a Gin & Maurten's from my water bottle.
Hey, you said you had a swim meet that weekend.
Consistency is key.
Fun run
850 kcal over 20km? Are you <50 kg??
Matt on his fun run
68kg, and it's apparently factored into the watch/app.
But yeah, I never look at kcal
Ow
My 4 sections (3x5k and last leg of 10k because one runner had to leave early, first run at the bottom)
I never figured you for a man bun.
dang, that's fast! @Matt !!!

Thanks!
The winning team went 7h11 (3:22/km)
208.3km for April
I watched athletically minded people run 370.83 miles and then run a billion more on May 1st. Chalk me up for a victory. I crushed this challenge!

Way less running than @Matt but maybe a little more than @Struang ?
@James Lange how is your back?
@kjrunnin I got an MRI a couple weeks ago that found a herniated disc in my lower back. I’ve been off work for about a month now but miraculously, after 2 long months (3 weeks of which were pure hell) this past week I’ve begun recovering quickly. My pain in totally under control now and I can do amazing things like sleep in a bed, sit in a chair, and walk! Amazing right?! I don’t think I’ll be doing any real exercise for a while, but now I’m at least feeling confident that I’ll recover.
@James Lange , @P_Cottrell , a keen observer of the effects of my back issues, will delight you at the Sworry Trials with all the wonderful things you can still do with a bad back. Get better and no worries mate!
