  Have you skiid Vermont before? I used to as a kid many years ago, the family joke has always been "Learn to ski on the Vermont ice fields, you'll always be able to ski icy conditions elsewhere!"

  I've skied Vermont many times. Icy conditions are the norm. Went to Europe years ago to ski. Had trouble skiing in the deep powder. Deepest powder I'd ever skied in the East is 4".

  @wchevron That's awesome how kids all think alike at that age. My youngest is "not quite" legal age and is planning on coming to hang out / crew (sit in a chair with a beverage and watch dad run around in circles for hours - he thinks this should be an endurance event on its own). Free beer and Saturday night party was a selling feature.

  @wchevron bring them along and make them volunteer 1 shift as punishment. Once the night shift starts, we all lose track of everything. Just duct tape water wings to them and there's a reasonable chance we will find them ok in the morning.
