Watched this over coffee this morning. The exhaustion on the faces of the support teams after 20 hours was something to see. Hadn't really thought of that. Do most top finishers bring extra people to support them, or do deals with each other to share support for a couple of hours at a time to give their teams a break?

Can't say I would ever want to do one of these to actually compete, but might be an interesting way to run 50 or 100, then drop.

Anyway, looks like @Tad_M runs a great event. Would love to see one like someday.

@Martin almost free entry for the Sworry folks this year. Come on out.
To answer, it's both. Some plan on rotating crew members, and some don't have that luxury. They don't have to do much negotiation as things wear on because an amazingly tight bond between all in attendance has formed all 3 years. Bascially everyone is willing to jump to help everyone else. It is truly amazing. If you can attend and there is any way to stay for Sunday to watch hours 24 to 36 and then return Monday, it's worth your while.
