  • Questions for Gordon Ramsay

Why haven't you incorporated triathlon into your show? At least yell at the fat ones to get in shape by doing triathlon or something.

Yes, my Saturday nights are this lame. Hey, we did do a corn maze earlier! That shit was fun. Oh, and I ate 6 doughnuts.

  • Discover Your Rooting Interest for Kona 2015

So I just read this article while drinking wine and eating doughnuts. Ended up in a mild argument with the Wife and a dual bet again each other in Fantasy Tri. That fucking bitch... she's going down. Though I really shouldn't bet money against her female pics. Given that she's a pro she tracks these broads all year and knows what's up with almost all of them.

  • Done racing for the year?

For you heavy racers (more than 1 tri per month) do you feel like you "improve" between races?

    Tips or thoughts?
I think it's all based on your training, the base you have before you start, and how you handle the training between races. Of course how well you recover is a huge factor. The year I did six 70.3's and one IM was Jennie's first year racing as pro. I still can't believe this season actually happened. At the time it didn't really occur to me how insane it really was. The stretch went: Galveston 70.3 (April), NOLA 70.3 (April, 3 weeks later), Mooseman 70.3 (early June, ? weeks later), Syracuse 70.3 (late June, 3 weeks later), IM Lake Placid (July, 4 weeks later), local Oly (mid Aug, Muskoka 70.3 (early Sept, 2 or 3 weeks later), Poconos 70.3 (late Sept, 3 weeks later).

I remember thinking at one point how much fun I was having going on a mini vacation to race every couple weeks. I wish I could repeat that year again.

Oh, and in case anyone is interested you can get a sweet selfie with a mini pony on one of the cross roads between the two main sections of the bike loop.

  • TOUGHMAN NEW YORK RACE WEEK

Just want to say how jealous I am of all of you fuckers...
With you on this. Just commented to the wife that I don't understand why I was such a douche a month ago registering for Barrelman instead of Touchman NY. What's the difference - 2 weeks post 140.6 or 3 weeks - really I'm fucked either way. SHould have just signed up and taken beer as nutrition. I'm fucking stupid...

Also, TW is somewhat of a lodging princes and won't stay in a fucking cabin. Divorce on the horizon, right? It's all her fault.

  • Tahoe Forecast... looking good, or not?

After 2 years of failure what should we expect for Tahoe's forecast? Friend of mine is racing and posted the recent 10 day forecast... thought it was pretty funny and wanted to share.

  • Give up on Barrelman, eat doughnuts and drink beer?

Sounds good @mikaelstaer! I'll be the ass hole in the black TRS racing kit.

    Is @HeatherLow still racing this?

  • Give up on Barrelman, eat doughnuts and drink beer?

I had some delusion a few weeks ago and registered for Barrelman thinking it would be "fun" and I might even earn a couple bucks (ignoring entry fee). However, The Wife kindly pointed out after the end of my shitty swim set this morning that there's like 10 fast f'ing guys showing up at the start line now. After finishing a full just a couple weeks ago I'm seriously debating just giving in and become a giant glutenous piece of shit for the next 2 months. Absolutely no chance of doing anything miraculous at this point.
