I can't find a photo of this bike in the thread for some reason, so here's it's farewell shot since I just sold it. My heart broke a little, but the purchaser seemed like a mega-CAAD nerd intent on actually upgrading it rather than using it to crash in criteriums like most CAAD owners, so it's gone to a good home.

I'm a few blocks from @Matt. It went from huge numbers in seniors home and big death counts to quiet, now the numbers are higher than ever but fewer deaths. I know a few people who have had it, which was not the case in the first wave. Varying degrees of severity, from 24-hour type flu to months later, still we'd y and no sense of taste.

I like the taste of food and wine too much, and have enough years left to want to avoid the severe potential side effects, to not take it to seriously. I do miss my masters swim team, though. And my out of province family. Also have a friend with cancer, and trying to get together with them has been challenging, and now requires testing and isolation.

OK, then...

Reports from the ER 2 blocks from my place is still not pretty.

@Matt and I are probably in one of the worst Covid-19 twenty-block sandwiches in the world. Hospital two blocks from my place put up a tent to deal with overflow, and we won't even discuss the seniors' residences, where infection rates are in the 80% plus range...

I was marvelling at beach pictures in Florida, shaking my head at the crowds. Then I walked my dog to the skateboard park 5 minutes from my house. It was jammed with indestructibles (youngsters). The hoops court next door as well. This thing is not going away any time soon.

You can tell me all you want about Tulsa, but...
