Middle Georgia Epic Gravel Grinder, 200km of mud, sand, dirt, a little gravel, shitty pavement, hills, rain, and @Adrienne. Brutal misery and a total blast. 8 hours of pedaling, 9+ when adding in the stops.
Haven't biked much since Raleigh, and have gained 5 lbs, so figured I'd try a bike race. Cat 4/5 race at the Atlanta Motorsports F1 track last night. Finished way way off a podium, but it was hella fun. Crazy hills and tight corners.
It's not really my race result, but I helped pace my little brother at the Leadville 100 trail run yesterday. I ran with him from the turnaround back over Hope Pass, shaving an hour off his outbound time, and then paced him the last 12 miles to the finish line.
Also met @maggieru and Lucy, who were there pacing as well.
Winter tune up is done, and now the bar tape matches the drapes. Or something like that. Also brought some of the components no one wants to buy over from my tri bike. Figure I should take advantage and get some outdoor miles while it's still over 80 degrees.
