2018 Goals and Challenges
Post your 2018 goals here. Feel free to challenge others to achieve greatness!
I personally need to find a better sense of humour. I also challenge
@kjrunnin to drink enough wine to build this tree out of the empties and put it up in her yard next Christmas.

in order to achieve more of this—
2017 was the year of swimming. I need to shoot for more balance between swim & bike in 2018.
Queen of All Donut Awards
Groovy Auntie to Roosters everywhere
I should probably get a job, too.
My goals for 2018 include doing a little less of certain things: less spending, less TV (trainer Netflix doesn't count), less social media, and yes... less wine. I hope the BC & California wine industries will be OK.
Also:
Run 2018 kms.
Find a run PB somewhere, anywhere, to prove my best days aren't behind me.
Eliminate a debt.
Do 18 things I've never done before.
Read 25 books.
2. Less booze
3. Eat the occasional vegetable
4. Do a triathalon
Basically everything is geared toward goal #1, as I'd like to live long enough to watch my kids graduate university/community college/beauty school/etc and it's not looking good as it stands right now.

"My 2017 resolution was to lose 20 lbs. Only 30 lbs to go !!"
My one and only goal this year is IM Canada, and like Westey losing weight and eating well are part of that.
2. Find a way to start running again with at least manageable pain
3. Better my sprint PR from last year even if my run is slower
4. Get at least 15 Roosters/TRS/Baucco/Others to attend the #Sworry Trials
5. Berate @AaronWebstey into modeling his secret santa gift, regardless of his weight status
6. Get another person to pick up the sport of triathlon in a sane/rational manner (3 for 3 2015-2017)

You're the rig guy? You don't look like you worked on rigs....
2. Do more strength work to hopefully prevent some injuries
3. Convince my kids to go to sleep before I do so I can have some sex with my wife. These teen kids staying up late is killing my sex life.
My biggie as usual is to be less fat.
Racing less, so I’d like some PR’s when I do race.
Fattest BQ on record--- *allegedly

I'm an angel with an incredible capacity for beer

2016 (and last) Rev3 Cedar Point champ- don't google the time though
- write (and pass) 4 government exams
- Race one full IM this year
- Get to 180 lbs this year. Scared to look at the scale right now
- Plan a fun summer vacation with my kids -the last one graduates high school in the spring.
You will hate life for a little while but it sounds like you aren't happy with things right now either... Good luck!
Aside from racing, I'm aiming to GTFO from the overcrowded SF Bay area, ideally to Ventura so @scotty and I can set up a room just like Step Brothers.
In the more immediate future, I'm trying to survive January without any alcohol. A little human experiment to see if I drop any weight, but also hoping it will drop my tolerance to where I'm once again a cheap date. Sworry in advance, I may not have much to contribute to Friday Night Boozing for a while!
2 - I don't turn into a potato from September to January as has been my wont the last ten damn years
3 - deadlift in the triple digits
4 - Platinum Horizon: Zero Dawn
5 - Actually get some proper swim coaching so that 2:30/100 stops looking like a great pace
