How late can we go to confirm attendance? I think I'll be family-free that weekend, but it'll be a week of decision.

You can just show up and likely get a camping spot @KHilgendorf , otherwise let us know when you know and we will give you the best choices.

The actual Sprint Gravel and Oly Gravel are 10 and 20 miles. The Ice Cream Dairy ride is 17. We will be inviting cycling minded folks to try the Backyard style 1 hour looping contest on bikes. We think that may have to be 12-14 mi. How many loops can you do? This is a test for a real version next year.
However, it's your time to use as you wish, so if you want to freestyle, we can load any course you'd like on a Garmin, and there's an above average chance we will see you again.

Let's not forget our running shoes. Some say the Vanstone beer mile course is hard, but I don't think so. I'd say it's in between. Right @Brew_Tri ?!

So I can best prepare, is the gravel more sand/mud or the broken stone we have in IL? I don't plan on bringing 3 bikes, so need to know if it's doable on 21mm tubulars. This looks like fun, and I'm up to 94% confidence I'll be there for at least a day.

Do you have a schedule of events?

@KHilgendorf , hard pack and crushed stone, mud if wet. Look up The Sworry Trials on Facebook. Lots of info there.
21 mm tubular? All events can be ridden road too except the dedicated gravel ice cream ride. We have loaner bikes that are gravel ready.

Damn you for making me log into the Facebook for the first time this year. Should I come, I'll just pack the cross bike and some 32's. Looks like everything has a solid gravel component to it.

I need to share that @Tad_M’s fleet of loaner bikes is pretty amazing.

Also, I’m bringing 2 bikes, so will have a spare if anyone needs to borrow a 53-54 cm.
