    I'm picturing some ragtag Revolutionary War conscripts with a hodgepodge of uniforms cobbled together. Except instead of snatching souls from Redcoats, we're just getting ready to do some competitive exercise for fun. Maybe with a drummer and a flutist leading the way. And a few of @ItsShug 's raccoons.

    I know it's logistically impossible for a lot of people but as race director for Triathlon on the Mira we were looking at renting out an entire campground/retreat area (local church runs it, has about 30 beds, full industrial kitchen, they rent it for about $150/night or something). I'd have to run it by the other organizers but we could give Rooster Endurance members first crack at any beds before opening it up to other entrants.

    The race was Sunday this year but we were contemplating moving it to Saturday for next year and future years and then hosting a proper ripper of an after party (which may or may not include a beer mile) and then follow up with a gravel ride or a "hang around" easy ride on Sunday morning. The issue with a Saturday race is the tight timelines for people travelling. We're planning the last weekend of July, the 27th or 28th
