Amazon the new title sponsor for Ironman world championships

On the whole I think this is a good partnership. Amazon is pretty huge and with their new nutrition line/store having an ironman logo mixed in there will certainly help things.

As an aside, I was thinking how well these two businesses match up. The way Amazon treats their employees is comparable to the way ironman athletes train https://www.news.com.au/finance/work/at-work/we-are-human-beings-not-slaves-and-animals-brutal-conditions-inside-amazon-warehouse/news-story/a7f9168efbe2b901f3c06f3efe503303.

In triroost fashion, let's start a list comparing an ironman athlete to an amazon order picker
  • After a mediocre career as a journeyman ironman "pro", athletes can transition to an Amazon order picker if they want to still put in long work hours for a living wage
  • Both of them pee on the run
  • Push through injuries for the sake of performance
Let's here yours.
