You favorite athletic podcasts?
Okay friends... I'd love to hear that sweat smooth voice of TRS but we haven't in a while. I do appreciate me some TPS from
@Zach Miller and
@EmilyCocks. What else are your go to athlete podcasts and why?
I'll start with my current and that is "Ten Junk Miles" as it rotates from fun/drunk episode to long (2-4 hours) serious interview formats. Great mix and good chemistry.

If we were riding
The Forward (controversial when you see who it is by)
Sparta Chicks Radio (because I have been a guest on there so I am bias but also a really good podcast)
The Hidden Athlete
The Howie Games
Tough Girl Podcast (another one I have been a guest on!)
Why? I like to hear about a range of different athletes in different sports. Also different people in their interview styles. Some of the interviewees annoy me so that's also good to have a bunch I can choose from!

Forgot to add While we were riding, and Babbitville.

non sport: my dad wrote a porno
editing to add: tea with a titan (and not just because I was on it, lol)... it's sometimes sporty (Jeff Symonds, Ray Zahab, Gary Robbins, a whole range of Olympic athletes... ), sometimes non-sporty
Because I get stuck listening to the husband's podcast choices when he's doing strength, I have listened to the Forward some and it was decent the first year, that annoying Malcolm Gladwell one sometimes, and if you want California politics or education policy podcasts, I am here for you. If you're looking for completely not sports-related, I used to listen to The Moth and Risk! when I drove to LA and back.
Crosshairs will also cover MTB World Cup in the CX offseason, or at least he did last summer.
Fat Black, TPS, Tower26, Ask a cycling coach, Strength running, Tim Ferris, The Brendon Show (can't do Tony Robbins sorry). Ones I used to look forward to that aren't around - TRS, Real Coaching,DC Rainmaker, Ask Prof Noakes,
IM Talk is decent - the hosts are enjoyable, but it's hardly essential.
The JJ Redick Podcast is surprisingly good, and doesn't focus on basketball exclusively.
The best podcast out there is still How Did This Get Made?

It stopped right about when their lawsuit vs. the government appeared to resolve in favor of Noakes side. I'd love to hear @TRS_tri @Ben Hobbs discussion with Noakes.

I will say that I really did like the format of the DC and Ben podcast and miss that.

However, those athletes with no personality come off even worse with his "how the heck are you? what sports did you do growing up" approach.
That was the good thing about Ben's interview style--he usually got people to open up. I never thought Andy Potts would talk about his days at the Naked Mile in public. But, Ben got it out of him.
